The PeertoPlay Story
Connecting Children Through Meaningful Play
Hi, I am Trisha - a mom to a nine-year-old. As a first-generation immigrant and a working mom, I have struggled to ensure that my son receives adequate, enriching, and varied social interactions.
The concept of structured playdates has been new to me.
When my son turned three and started playschool, I quickly learned that many bonds were formed beyond routine interactions. I was expected to cultivate relationships, be on top of setting regular interactions, and be accepted in the network. Unfortunately, I did not have time to check all the boxes.
I realized many parents were similarly challenged. Children in their early years rely heavily on their parents’ decisions about socialization choices. Sometimes, as parents, we miss the boat when assessing our children’s peer network and quality of social interactions and considering their choices or inclination towards varying interests.
I constantly tried to find a matching peer or group but still struggled to expand beyond our close network, school, and defined extracurriculars.
This is why PeertoPlay was born.
I created PeertoPlay as a one-stop service for every parent to enable meaningful social interactions and experiences for their children.
Our mission is to expand our childrens’ world of playdates and experiences.
PeertoPlay offers parents a wide range of options to foster meaningful interactions tailored to their child’s interests, hobbies, and personalities. By connecting children with broader communities, extracurriculars, events that align with their changing interests, PeertoPlay enriches their experiences, helping to build inclusiveness, confidence, and versatility.
